Encino, CA (March 12, 2013) – ACM Lifting Lives® announced today that the March “My Cause” web feature will spotlight Thompson Square and the charity organization, ChildFund International.  The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.

My Cause is a way for ACM Lifting Lives to tangibly demonstrate the Academy’s support of country music artists.  Many people have been helped by these fantastic charities, and ACM Lifting Lives bolsters that support by increasing awareness and funding for these very deserving causes.  Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $45,000.00 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.

This month, “My Cause: ChildFund International” highlights a foundation that serves as a global child development and protection agency for more than 17.8 million children and family members in 31 countries.  The organization has helped the world’s deprived, excluded and vulnerable children survive and thrive to reach their full potential and become leaders of enduring change.  The husband and wife duo are encouraging people to join the cause by offering fans who sponsor a child through ChildFund’s website between now and March 23rd two free backstage meet and greet passes. To participate fans can use the link available with the video to sign up to sponsor a child and send an email with their confirmation to [email protected] with the subject line “concert date, concert city, your name, your phone number.”
