Encino, CA (July 1, 2013) – ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp was in session last week in Nashville, Tenn. with campers from around the country participating in a week of activities and excursions around Music City.  The residential camp has the dual purpose of studying Williams syndrome while providing music enrichment through performance and education.

On Friday, the week-long camp wrapped up with a performance on the Grand Ole Opry with Jerrod Niemann.  Campers sang their original song, “Livin’ On Island Time,” which they wrote at the beginning of the week with Niemannand songwriter Lance Miller

The camp also included a trip to the Wildhorse Saloon with Lauren Alaina, a recording studio session with Jake Owen and producerRoss Copperman at Ocean Way Nashville Recording Studios and a karaoke night with Love and Theft

The camp is a partnership between ACM Lifting Lives and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.
